Gabby's Gluten Free Breakfast Pizza & Gravy

Sausage Gravy Recipe:

This sausage gravy is both gluten and dairy free, and you can barely tell!


Ingredients:


1 lb hot sausage (either pre-seasoned or season it yourself)

***you will need all of the oil from this but only half of the meat. Use the other half in this recipe I wrote One Pan Sweet Potato & Sausage Breakfast Casserole


2 T gluten free flour blend

1 1/2 cups coconut milk

Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. In a cast iron pan over medium high heat, crumble the sausage and saute until slightly crispy.

  2. Using a sieve, strain the meat from the oil and set the meat aside in a bowl.

  3. Turn the heat off and put the oil in the pan.

  4. Sprinkle in all the flour and use a rubber spatula to stir it. Then turn the stove back on low.

  5. Let is cook for 5 minutes while constantly stirring.

  6. Now, using a whisk, stir continuously and slowly add all of the coconut milk.

  7. Let simmer and cook down until thickened.

  8. Take half of the cooked meat and add it back into the gravy, make sure to get all of the oil into the gravy too.

  9. Stir well and them season with salt and pepper to taste.

  10. Serve hot with biscuits, an omelette, a breakfast casserole, or on a breakfast pizza!


Breakfast Pizza Recipe:

This recipe brings a few of my signature recipes together to make one delicious dish!


Ingredients:


One Thin Crust Gluten Free Pizza crust (my recipe)

sausage gravy from the above recipe

cheese

2 eggs

chopped bacon

chopped garlic scapes or chives


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Scramble the eggs and cook them. Prepare the gravy & cook the crust.

  3. Once the crust is cooked through, spoon the gravy onto the top, using as much as you like.

  4. Then sprinkle the scramble eggs & bacon onto the gravy.

  5. Top with cheese of your desired type.

  6. Then sprinkle the garlic scapes or chives onto the top of the cheese.

  7. Place in the air fryer or oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the scapes/chives are cooked.

  8. Let cool for 3-5 minutes, cut and serve immediately!


I admit, the crust kinda disappeared on this one. But I can't deny how amazing it tasted!
