5 Ingredient Pea Shoot Pesto
Updated: Nov 18, 2019
Making a pesto packed with nutrients can be easy and fast! Using our microgreen pea shoots, we make this delicious recipe!
We use it on sandwiches, slathered on burgers, smeared on a steak, or as a dip with crackers and cheese.
1 cup or 100 grams of pea shoots contains 50% of your daily recommended Vitamin C!
Ingredients:
Pea shoots
Olive oil to desired consistency
Garlic to taste
Fresh grated parmesan
Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cut the pea shoots into a few sections to reduce the amount of stringy pieces left at the end.
2. Put the pea shoots in a food processor with the oil and blend until halfway processed.
3. Add in the garlic, parmesan, and pepper in and blend until desired texture.
It does settle in the fridge so if you store it, just make sure to stir it up before using.
Happy cooking,
Gabby Waterman
